(1) Morning tour - CLASSIC CITY TOUR
The classic tour provides an overview of the main highlights of
Barcelona. Explore Plaza de Catalunya, Via Laietana, the Cathedral and its
cloister, the magical Gothic Quarter, Plaza Sant Jaume (Generalitat and Town
Hall). Continue on to Villa Olimpica (the athletes complex during the Olympics)
followed by a walking tour of Port Olympic (Olimpic harbor).
Afterwards we will ascend Montjic Mountain, which offers a panoramic view of
the city and the harbor. Tour the Olympic Stadium, Palau Sant Jordi and
Calatrava Tower. Visit the Poble Espanyol (Spanish Village) to see typical
regional architecture and to taste Catalan Cava, the renowned local sparkling
wine.

Afternoon - CULTURAL BARCELONA
Discover fabulous architecture by the world-famous Antoni Gaudi on
an afternoon Cultural Barcelona tour. A professional English and Spanish
speaking guide will accompany us as we explore the UNESCO-listed Parc Guell (Guell
Park) and Barcelona's most famous landmark, La Sagrada Familia.
The Cultural tour of Barcelona begins along Paseo de Gracia to see Gaudi's most
famous apartment buildings, Casa Batllo and La Pedrera. Then we can enjoy a
30-minute visit at Gaudi's bizarre Parc Guell, which was declared a UNESCO World
Heritage Site.
Then it is onwards to Gaudi's unfinished masterpiece, La Sagrada Familia (Holy
Family) Cathedral, Barcelona's most famous landmark. We will have another 30
minutes to explore this noteworthy structure.
Next we continue to visit Barcelona's Monumental Bull Ring and the famous
Cathedral Santa Maria del Mar, the only Gothic church in Catalunya which is
completely finished. The tour ends near the Picasso Museum, exhibiting works
from the world-famous painter (ticket is not included but you can continue to
explore on your own if wanted).
