Enjoyable day trip to the lovely village of Ronda

Join a day trip to Ronda and explore this beautiful mountainous region and the lovely town of Ronda which hangs over a steep gorge. This tour departs from 2 main areas along the Costa del Sol every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

On this day trip we will see all the highlights of the charming city of Ronda, including the Plaza de Toros Maestranza, the Church of the Holy Spirit, the town square and the bull-fighting museum.

The lovely town of Ronda hangs over the El Tajo gorge, crossed by the impressive 18th-century Puente Nuevo bridge. We will visit the town square, known as Plaza de Espana, the Church of the Holy spirit, built in 1485, and the Cathedral Church of Our Lady of the Incarnation, known today as the Church of Saint Mary the Elder.

Plaza de Toros, the oldest bull ring in Spain, has staged some of the most important events in this controversial sport, and houses memorabilia of such famous fans as Ernest Hemingway and Orson Wells.

We will have free time to explore charming Ronda on our own, and perhaps enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (not included) before returning to our hotel on the Costa del Sol.
