The full day tour is the perfect combination if you wish to discover Lisbon as well as the World Heritage Site of Sintra and the Estoril Coast.

Start by exploring all the main busy squares of the city that truly transform Lisbon into a European capital. At the top of the highest hill of Lisbon you will find the Castle of Saint George with an astonishing view of Lisbon and the old Moorish quarter of Alfama. Lisbon is nowadays just the capital of Portugal but once it was the center of a huge empire that comprised half of the world! Many of the adventurous discoverers departed from the area that you will visit next - Belem. Along with new thoughts and cultures the Portuguese explorers brought also enough wealth to build the astonishing Jeronimos Monastery and the nearby Tower of Belem. In addition to these monuments the Discoveries monument was erected honoring all of these heroes of the past.

In the afternoon we will continue to the World Heritage Site of Sintra and walk through the narrow streets before heading to the top of the mountain to visit the 19th century extravaganza of King Ferdinand - the Pena Palace.

After the visit of the Pena Palace with all its history it's time to relax in a journey along the coast. Our starting point will be the small historical centre of Cascais where the fishing tradition of the past still thrive. From here we will continue along the coast and the beautiful beaches of Estoril.

Please note that we stop at the sites and walk around for anywhere between 5 to 30 minutes depending on the site and your preferences.

Entry fees to the sites are not included in the price (not needed with a typical itinerary).
