Granada Tour
Visit Granada to discover the famous Alhambra Palaces - a World Heritage UNESCO Site and the second most visited site in Europe. We can pick you up from Seville, Cordoba, Costa del Sol, and other points in Andalucía.
We will pick you up in the morning for a transfer to Granada to visit the mighty Alhambra Palaces. Discover a maze of magnificent halls and intimate courtyards decorated by rows of elegant arches, bubbling fountains and splendidly carved decorations. See the Palace of Charles the 5th, an outstanding example of Spanish Renaissance architecture, and the Alcazaba fortress with its Torre de la Vela tower offering spectacular views of Granada. Please note entry is 18 Euros per person (extra) and bookings in advance is a MUST - there will not be tickets available on the day!
Continue your visit to the Generalife, a royal place of leisure and recreation with beautiful exotic gardens, stunning water features and the lingering aroma of jasmine to remind you of a grand Muslim past.
In the afternoon you can enjoy a guided walking tour of the historical city centre of Granada with its enormous Moorish, Christian and Jewish cultural heritage. A walk through the medieval Moorish Albaicín neighborhood leads to the River Darro with great views of the Alhambra across the banks and a maze of tiny streets filled with little Arab shops, restaurants and tea houses. You will have time for lunch (extra) and you can also explore on your own if you wish (we are very flexible to accommodate your needs on the day of the tour). This is a wonderful day tour - perfect for those visiting on a short schedule.
