Visit Ronda, Mijas and Costa del Sol

Enjoy a full day tour to Ronda and the white village of Mijas, or take a half day excursion along the Costa del Sol.  We will pick you up from your hotel or the cruise port for a personal and enjoyable tour!

Visit Ronda – We begin our journey by driving through the spectacular countryside of Andalusia to the mountain town of Ronda. This picture-postcard town is divided in two by the El Tajo gorge — a 380-foot (115-meter) chasm spanned by the towering 18th-century New Bridge (Puento Nuevo).  Enjoy spectacular views and admire wonderful architecture dating from Moorish times up to the 1800s.

On arrival, spend approximately 2.5 hours to explore this spectacular town on your own or with our English speaking expert guide. You can choose to visit the Ernest Hemingway and Orson Welles gardens, see the monument to Pedro Romero, the new bridge, the Arabian bridge, the Tajo-Gorge, and walk through the old Arabian city, Main Square, Maison Bosco, Cathedral, Mondragon Palace and the Bullring.  You can also enjoy a relaxed time in one of the coffee shops or restaurants in town for lunch.

In the afternoon, we can stop at the white village of Mijas or any other stop along the Costa del Sol.  You can explore white-washed houses with hanging flower-pots overlooking the Mediterranean sea in Mijas, or visit the chic shops of Marbella, the luxury port town of Puerto Banus, or the city of Malaga.

Half-day or Full-day tour of Costa del Sol –  drive through the city of Malaga where you will see sights such as the Alcazaba, City Hall, Fine Arts and Archeological Museum (old customs house) and Larios Street. Then continue to Marbella with its lovely cobblestone streets and shops, followed by a visit to the up-market marina district of Puerto Banus, a luxurious boulevard for Europe’s wealthy yacht community. Combine this for a full day tour by visiting the traditional village of Mijas.
